Original Vermont Rock Trio, Zephrus has announced their fifth release, titled SeaZonS. In their tradition, the album features a mixture of genres with a progressive rock undercurrenty, catchy melodies and harmonic vocals. This album features a guest writer and vocalist Don Jackson on the track "Live Free", as well as a guest vocalist DonnCherie McKenzie on the track FaceTime. Burlington, VT based rock trio, Zephrus, has announced the release of their fourth album, 'Universe Watching'. The album follows their second and third 2014 releases, Liquid Sun and Z3, respectively, as well as their eponymous debut which reached top 5 ranking on Reverbnation's chart for Burlington, VT, in 2012. The new album features 100% new and unreleased material, including the track "King of Queen City", to which live audiences have been very receptive.

Zephrus has been active since 2012, writing and performing original music in the rock genre with an established fanbase, both locally and worldwide. They have been featured in worldwide music publications such as PowerPlay and Fireworks magazine, and received airplay on several radio stations including CKRL 89.1FM, Quebec City. They have regularly performed at many area venues - notably Higher Ground, Club Metronome, Nectar's, Radio Bean, and Switchback Brewery Tap Room.

The album is available via various channels, including Bandcamp.com for both physical and digital download, as well as Amazon Music, iTunes, Google Play, and many other digital outlets.

Switchback Brewery to host Weekend full of

ART-tivities for This Year’s Art Hop

Burlington, VT – The Switchback Brewery is set to host a weekend full of happenings over this year’s Art Hop, Friday September 11^th – Sunday September 13^th, including a Friday night warehouse party, visual art, brewery tours, and more!

Friday Night Warehouse Party

Kicking the weekend off on Friday night the Burlington based brewery will open its docks for the general public. From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. hoppers are encouraged to stop by the brewery for a warehouse party featuring live music by rock trio Zephrus! Zephrus is an experimental rock band, comprised of epic instrumentals and deep-track originals with strong vocal harmonies, and evoking sounds inspired by classic rock, jam bands, Latin jazz and folk music. Cold Switchback brews will be pouring both in the Tap Room and on the brewery floor and the Southern Smoke Food Truck will be on site serving up delicious BBQ.

Brews, Brewers’ Art, and Beyond

All weekend long the Tap Room will be serving up a diverse lineup of ales and lagers straight from the cellar including classics like the Switchback Ale & Märzen Fest Bier along with some new exclusive brews such as our Connector IPA, SwitchBOCK, and Export Stout. Brewer artwork will be on display for the entire weekend featuring industry inspired photography, paintings, illustrations, and more. Steven Brook’s outdoor Sturgeon sculpture is also a must see over the weekend, located outside in front of the Tap Room entrance. As always, Switchback Brewers will lead guided tours through our facility on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., please call ahead to reserve your spot.

Third Album Released: "Z3"

Zephrus' third studio album, 'Z3' has officially been released as of December 28th, 2014. Recorded over the past two months, the album features seven tracks of new and previously unrecorded material, with a focus on fan requests from the past year. Orders for physical CDs are only being taken via the Zephrus website. The album is also available as a digital download from Bandcamp.

We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of the new album 'Z3'. Recorded over the past two months, the album features seven tracks of new and previously unrecorded material, with a focus on fan requests from the past year.

'Z3' will be out on December 23, 2014, and orders for physical CDs will only be taken via the Zephrus website. Advance orders for physical CDs are being accepted as of today. The album will also be available as a digital download from Bandcamp.

Liquid Sun Now Available on iTunes

Zephrus has announced that their 2nd album, Liquid Sun is now available from the iTunes Store. The entire album retails for $8.91, or $0.99 for individual tracks. Other digital music distribution should be coming online shortly, including Rhapsody, Spotify, Amazon MP3, and others.

05/13/2014 Burlington, VT - Vermont power trio Zephrus announces the release of their 2nd album, Liquid Sun. The album features 9 tracks of music spanning a gamut of musical styles from straight ahead guitar rock, to post-rock, and on to more jazzy acoustic music. As in the eponymous first album, this sophomore effort was recorded, mixed, and produced entirely by the band themselves. Spring 2014 Release Tour Dates

Zephrus has announced the first three show dates of a Vermont tour around the release of their sophomore record. The tour will kick off in late April and continue until early-mid June. Zephrus is excited to announce the official release of their 2nd studio album as May 13th, 2014. The as-yet untitled album's release will be followed by a CD release party at The Monkey House, in Winooski, VT, on Saturday, May 17th. Also in attendance and performing that evening will be Folk/Americana performer Brian Gatch (formerly of Hardscrabble Hounds). Zephrus will be performing the music on the new release, along with favorites from their eponymous first album, as well a few covers. The show will start at 9pm, and there will be a modest door fee which will go directly to the bands. On The RIse show cancelled due to icy conditions

The December 20th, 2013 show date, at On The Rise (Richmond, VT) has sadly been cancelled. At 4pm, the temperature had dropped below freezing, and rainy conditions were predicted to prevail the remainder of the evening into night, producing over 1/2" of ice.

Zephrus is working with On The Rise to reschedule, and we will keep fans apprised of the new date via e-mail. Please remember to sign up on the e-mail list if you would like to be notified of new dates.
